Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson recently had a haircut in a salon in Las Vegas and that has attracted lot of interest from people. Her guardian Katherine Jackson along with security took the girl for hair and nails in a salon. So what’s the big deal? Each of us visits a salon at sometime or the other.

But the Paris Jackson haircut has become one of the most discussed topics. Probably, the haircut was not as important as what happened after the process. Once the job was done, the security was told to collect each and every lock of Paris’s hair and put it in a plastic bag. She used to sport long hair before the cut and blow-dry job, and after that every single strand was swept from the salon.

If you are thinking this was done due to the value of celebrity hair, then you are wrong. This secret hair cleaning process was done to make sure that her DNA won’t be used for paternity testing.

Since MJ’s death, there have been lots of rumors that have challenged his fatherhood towards his children. Recently, it was rumored that Paris’ brother Blanket was Macauley Culkin’s son and not of Jacko. And after Mark Lester was linked to be Paris’s dad, her guardians did not want anyone to misuse her hair for testifying her paternity.
This story seems to be true and not just any rumor because when Paris Jackson’s haircut was in progress, a local TV reporter Alicia Jacobs was sitting next to her. Of course it was not to capture how the celebrity hair cut is done but to have her own hair styled. And that’s when she overheard security being told to pick up every hair strand of Paris. Jacobs exclaimed, “Can you imagine the value of Paris’s hair? DNA – the truth, finally.”

This incident shows how powerful the belongings of celebrities can be. Common people like us will never attract such attention if we were to have a haircut. But after all controversy surrounding Paris Jackson’s haircut is not a common thing, considering all that’s been going on with MJ’s family. And therefore it proves very special and attracts so many eyeballs!
